The overarching goal of Vermont Science Initiative (VSI) is to achieve scientific literacy among all of our children through improved instruction in science. Scientists and science educators from across the state have developed and implemented a series of science learning experiences and courses for K-8 teachers.

Science and Engineering Academy-2017-2018 DATES AVAILABLE

VSI Science and Engineering Academy summer institute will be August 6-11, 2017.  Content focus will be physical science:  matter and forces and motion. 

NEW NGSX Pathway to Support Instructional Leaders Coming Spring 2017!

The Principals Learn About, Network, and Support 3-Dimensional Science Learning (PLANS) Pathway will support instructional leaders interested in knowing more about and figuring out constructive strategies for supporting teachers as they implement NGSS.
